Shoeing Policies Have the horse caught, a halter on and placed in a holding pen or stall, saving you and the Farrier time. Clean their feet preparing for the work to be completed. Set up with your Vet for tranquilizers if your horse requires them as we do not shoe problem horses without them. Scheduling Policies We recommend: Schedule Your Shoeing Appointments 2 Weeks In Advance so you can be sure to get the work done in time for special occasions or shows. We do not reschedule other clients to squeeze you in unless it is an injury emergency. We can assist your Vet with an emergency call in the case of injury. We can make these appointments within 48 hours. We require that you reschedule your appointment with us 48 hours prior to your already arranged appointment in order that we may fill that time with another shoeing client. Payment Policies Payment is expected when our professional services are rendered without exception. We cannot hold personal checks. We will give you your bill by phone prior to your shoeing appointment. We offer small discounts to owners with 2 or more horses but this must discussed with the office prior to your appointment. Our Farriers can not discuss billing with you. Payment Options Cash or Electronic Check Credit Cards by phone or through PayPal on-line (processing fees will apply)
